My name is Bill Gibson and I started Extreme Garage of Illinois out of necessity.

When my wife and I purchased our home, we quickly realized the need for more storage and organization as the clutter in our garage mounted.   As a father of 2 boys, ages 6 and 10, I wanted something that could meet our needs today with the flexibility to meet our storage requirements as the boys grew.  Today it is skateboards, assorted balls, bats and other sports equipment.  Tomorrow, who knows?   We also needed storage for seasonal items, lawn care in the spring and summer, and a snow blower in the winter.  If you are like me, you have a never-ending list of home improvement projects.  Storing the tools and supplies associated with these projects would be great.   Finally, we thought it would be nice to park both of our cars inside the garage, something we had not done in years.   And of course, we wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing – after all, this is the daily entrance to our home.  The key to making this all a reality was affordability.
